Watching World Cup is allowed at work in Germany?

The World Cup soccer fascinates us so much. Also in Japan, many people are eager to watch TV broadcasting even at midnight.

In Germany, more than a third of bosses allows subordinates to watch TV during the work, according to a survey conducted by the German University of Hohenheim.

This percentage is higher by four points than the previous World Cup.

I was rather surprised to know a university conducted such a unique survey.
