Spider-Man: Homecoming, a life-sized movie

I saw Spider-Man: Homecoming on cinema. I enjoyed MX4D stimulation with the 3D graphic.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is the 6th real movie featuring Spider-Man, as well as the first episode of Homecoming trilogy. The first Spider-Man trilogy was released in the 2000s. And Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 were released. But this series failed to be a great success.

And this third Spider-Man, as Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland appeared firstly at "Captain America: Civil War." In this film, he was recruited by Tony Sterk (Iron-Man), to be opposed to Captain America and his allies.

Thus, Peter, a 15-year-old boy, matched world-famous heroes on the pre-story. It is quite natural that Peter became proud of himself, and is arrogantly wanting to be greater.

However, he has a difficulty to deal with troubles around the city of Queens. Also, Tony and Happy, his subordinate, seem unfriendly to Peter. Tony worries about endangering Peter in a battle with villains, but Peter hardly understands his intention.

Peter begins to enter riskier mission on his own. He desires to be admired by Tony, and finally to become a member of Avengers, the superheroes team. But his actions expose many people to fatal risk, unfortunately. Tony gets angered, getting rid of Peter's high-tech Spider Suit.

Finally, Peter notices the real nature of the villain. He is forced to choose to fight with the villain sacrificing a usual happiness, or abandon his justice.

In this film, the Hero is a life-sized man. Peter is a high-school boy. He wants to attract the attention of a beautiful classmate. He merely dreams to be a hero, not imagining the responsibility behind their work. Therefore, Peter has to go to the last stage wearing his handmade suit.

The final cut of the decisive battle was not cool at all. I think it is a taste of Spider-Man. He is not cool nor smart, but it is the reason he is called "your friendly neighborhood" with love.

In this film, a villain is a blue-collared man. He worked as a scavenger after the fight between heroes and aliens, but loses his job because of Tony. Then, he begins to steal parts of aliens. He has no intention to conquer the world or even against the government. He only wants to keep his family safe and peaceful. In a sense, Iron-Man and Spider-Man made his a villain.

I was satisfied with this movie totally. Spider-Man is far different from other heroes such as Iron-Man or Thor. I am curious about how Peter will grow in the next Homecoming.

Personal Rating: 3 (fair)
