Ice wine and global warming

Do you have drunk ice wine? I have.

I had one in Germany several years ago. It was extremely delicious. Ice wine contained the sweetness of grape. Some people would not like it. But for me, as a sweet lover, it had heavenly taste, though I can drink only few amount of alcohol.

Ice wine is made from frozen grapes. Therefore, global warming is very hostile for ice wine makers. Indeed, the production of ice wine is decreasing in recent years.

On the other hand, in some regions farmers began to produce precious ice wine. The warmer the winter becomes, the more expensive the product is. Also they are engaging in keeping, further improving, the taste and flavor of the ice wine.

Global warming is an big issue. But it means the change of the environment. We have to adapt the changing game, besides of maintaining the current situation.
