Olympic game issues in corona pandemic

The WHO declared pandemic of corona virus recently. It means that the virus has become uncontrollable all over world.

For avoiding the expansion of the infection, several events are forced to be cancelled or postponed. Also in Japan, there are only few events conducted in Tokyo in these weeks. I myself, had to refund the tickets of comedy show etc.

People pay attention to the decision of Olympic games. On 24th July this year, the Summer Olympic games 2020 will be held in Tokyo. Japan became enthusiastic when Tokyo won the race for the invitation. But now, we face to a difficult decision making.

Until now, the organizing committee in Japan seems not to have the idea of postpone the Olympic games. The Olympic frame torch left Greece to be brought to Tokyo.

On the other hand, some people suggest the possibility of cancelling of the Olympic games.

Even conducted as planned, some athletes may be absent, or cannot attend the game because of the restriction of international journey, or due to the fear of infection. In that case, the game will have to become shrunk and undervalued.
