Reuters: Japanese messaging app operator Line to launch cryptocurrency
Line is founded in South Korea. But, its service has been widely spread all over Japan. Now, Line is the most popular messenger application in Japan. Many people are fond of buying Line Stamps to use them for communicating with friends. Business persons also use Line as an instant messenger.
However, Line would not allow Japanese users to use cryptocurrency, "LINK." Line considers its utilization will be violating Japanese, as well as American, regulation.
SNS will be mated with cryptocurrency with a good relationship, I think. Now, some people send a small number of crypto coins for expressing thanks, as if giving tips.
